USER AGREEMENT:
You must read, agree with and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy, which include those terms and conditions expressly set out below and those incorporated by reference, before you may become a registered member of the Site. We may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on the Site. Except as stated below, all amended terms shall automatically be effective 30 days after they are initially posted on the Site. This Agreement may not be otherwise amended. This Agreement is effective upon acceptance in registration for new registering users.

1. Membership Eligibility.
In order to use the Service, you must register for a Personal or Business account. If you are registering as a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind the entity to this Agreement.

2. Fees and Services.
Becoming a registered user at this Site is free. We may in our sole discretion change some or all of our services at any time. In the event we introduce a new service, any fee for that service will be quoted and effective at the launch of the service. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in fees associated with using our service and the Site and all applicable taxes.

3. Identity Authentication.
We use many techniques to identify our users when they register on our Site. Verification of Users is only an indication of increased likelihood that a User's identity is correct. You authorize the Putnam County Tax Collector to make any inquiries we consider necessary to validate your registration. However, difficult, the Putnam County Tax Collector cannot and does not guarantee any user's identity

4. Access and Interference Access and Interference.
You agree that you will not: (i) take any action that imposes, or may impose in our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure; (ii) copy, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute or publicly display any content (except for Your Information) from the Site without the prior expressed written permission of the Putnam County Tax Collector and the appropriate third party, as applicable; (iii) interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or (iv) bypass the security measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site.


5. Breach.
We may limit your activity, issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if: (i) you breach this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference; (ii) we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us; or (iii) we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users or us.

6. Privacy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent and we only use your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. No Warranty.
The Putnam County Tax Collector officers, directors, and employees provide our website and services "as is" and without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. The accuracy of the information provided on this Site is not guaranteed for legal purposes. Changes occur daily to the content. To obtain the most current information, please contact the Putnam County Tax Collector office.

8. Liability Limit.
In no event shall we, our officers, directors, or employees be liable for lost profits or any special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our Site, our services or this agreement (however arising, including negligence).

9. Indemnity.
You agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our officers, directors, agents, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

10. Legal Compliance.
You shall comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of our service.

11. General.
This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Florida as such laws are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Florida between Florida residents. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to our services, and operation of the Site may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.

This Privacy Policy describes the information, as part of the normal operation of our services, we collect from you and what may happen to that information. By accepting the Privacy Policy and the User Agreement in registration, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the Putnam County Tax Collector User Agreement. This Privacy Policy is effective upon acceptance in registration for new registering users.

1. Information We Collect
Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We only collect personal information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose. In general, you can browse the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. If you choose to use our services, we may require you to provide contact information, identity information, and other personal information as indicated on the forms throughout the Site. Where possible, we indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional. You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular service or feature. We automatically track certain information based upon your behavior on the Site. We use this information to do internal research on our users' interests and behavior to better understand, protect and serve you and our community. We use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Site to help analyze our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. "Cookies" are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing our services. We offer certain features that are only available through the use of a "cookie". We also use cookies to allow you to enter your password less frequently during a session. Most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session. 2. Our Use of Your Information.
We use your personal information to facilitate the services you request. We use your personal information and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site to: troubleshoot problems; measure consumer interest in our services, inform you about online and offline services and updates; customize your experience; detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our User Agreement(s); and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection. You agree that we may use personal information about you to analyze site usage and customize the Site's content, layout, and services. These uses improve the Site and better tailor it to meet your needs, so as to provide you with a smooth, efficient, safe and customized experience while using the Site.

3. Our Disclosure of Your Information.
As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. The information we gather may be saved for a designated period of time in order to comply with the state of Florida's archiving policies. The Putnam County Tax Collector cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, city, state, telephone number, e-mail address, UserID history without a subpoena. Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy we will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to: prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity. Further, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, e-mail, and company name as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with unlawful activity. Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose personal information to other government agencies or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or users may abuse or misuse information that they collect from the Site.

4. Control of Your Password.
You are responsible for all actions taken with your User ID and password. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your password to any third parties. If you choose to share your UserID and password or your personal information with third parties, you are responsible for all actions taken with your account and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.

5. Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information.
We offer you the ability to automatically review and change the information you submit to us by logging into the Site and entering in the new information yourself. You can change your UserID, e-mail address, contact information, and user preferences. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate.

6. Security.
Your information is stored on servers located in the United States. We use procedural and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access and disclosure to protect your privacy, including encryption, "firewalls" and Secure Socket Layers. We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the Putnam County Tax Collector offices. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

7. Notice.
We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amend terms on the Site. All amended terms shall automatically be effective 30 days after they are initially posted on the Site.
